Social media reveals what people are thinking in a manner that was not previously available. It’s like being able to hear, uninhibited, the thoughts of the general population. This access confirms, for me, that there are a lot more crazy people than I had previously realized.

I shared a house with 6 roommates in college. In a shared living space it was considered a plus if you were able to mind your own business and be cool about other people’s comings and goings. Nobody wanted a self-appointed surrogate parent checking in, asking for explanations.

Aside from the lead image, I’ve never seen a photo of Emily smiling; I’d even go so far as to say she is not the smiling type. Many couture models are probably not, but smiling is clearly not in Emily’s toolbox. She never smiles; doesn’t need to. It’s not her thing. It’s not her.

Ditto on the wives, for sure. It’s a sprawling sense of entitlement. Why wouldn’t you reorganize the schedule and throw in all these extra services for free when you’re hoping to win the favor of bonafide capitalist royalty? Insufficient bowing and scraping is met with a very at-the-ready sneer.

The ferocity of contempt directed at Meghan has frequently reminded me of the endless shlt dumped on Obama on a daily basis. None of it made any sense outside of a sinister, unconscious racism (not that it wasn’t conscious also, but a huge percentage of it seemed unconscious, embedded, unexamined).
