Don't get the question confused with crappy T9 phones. I have been using Blackberrys with only a talk and text plan for years and couldn't be happier. They are awesome phones and the qwerty is golden. Don't need the web or email enough to pay those insane rates.

A task manager without a desktop client is a pretty useless tool. If I can't operate offline and it can't remind me of anything when I'm not in my email box it's less useful than a string tied around my finger.
