I just came here to write nearly the same. I really was starting to think she was okay. But, alas, the Fox News stronghold wins.

My colleague has an adopted daughter from China, who woke up hysterical on Wednesday morning that because she’s Chinese and an immigrant, she’s going to get deported. She had to explain to a child that she’s a legal U.S. citizen and cannot be deported. These poor children.
I, too, was just a kid when HRC was first lady and I vividly remember stores selling buttons that said “I didn’t vote for HER.” Even as a young girl, I was confused and upset at the implication that she should not have a voice just because she was a wife. Look how far we’ve come. Now we wear buttons that say “I’m with…
Aaaand now I’m crying. Thank you.
My only Janet Reno anecdote was from when I worked at a pro-choice organization in DC. I was a lowly intern and we were planning our biggest fundraising event of the year. I’ll never forget the day I answered the phone to hear a woman request to speak with our executive director. I asked who was calling and she…
This made me laugh harder than I care to admit. I’m an attorney and my law partner and I discuss this often, as we get into it with her PR husband about the proper spacing. Clearly, I’m an advocate of the two spaces after the period.
I’m a huge GG fan, so I’m biased, but it is a great show to watch even as an adult (I’m in my 30s). There’s lots of pop culture references that are so old and outdated now that they make me cringe, but in general it’s a funny, quick, smart show.
I came down to the comments just to make this point. Like, really? Comic sans? The laughing stock of all fonts??
Best comment. Oh man, I’m dying laughing!
I see this too with a friend who has a borderline emotionally abusive boyfriend. It breaks my heart.
My sister in law does this every time her husband buys her a present, flowers, etc. “Best husband ever!” My eyes roll so far back into my head every time. It’s pretty obvious to those that know them that she’s so incredibly insecure in life in general, and especially in her relationship where she pretty much just gets…
I have several people on FB that I hate watch with glee. I’m a terrible person.
I still vividly remember having a conversation with my doctor when I was in high school about my severe period cramping, to the point of vomiting. Her answer was to take 5 or 6 Advil at a time. I was about 15-16 years old and even then I remember thinking “really? THAT’S the answer? Handfuls of Advil??”
I LOVE the computer games. I’m in my 30s. DON’T JUDGE ME.
The entitlement of some really is amazing to me. This is a very mild example compared to some of the stories shared here, but it was an eye-opener for me in college. My freshmen year I was at a frat party with some friends and I started talking and dancing with a freshman football player. We were having a good time,…
I think I remember from their wedding that it’s not custom for men to wear a wedding ring. I forget whether that’s just a royal thing or a more general British thing. Perhaps someone with more of a clue can fill us in.
I think the thing that bothers me the most about this whole thing is that there’s a lack of outrage at the clearly xenophobic and ridiculous comments Trump makes. When a celebrity or other politician makes some off color remark, people fly up in outrage. When Trump does it? ::Oh, shoulder shrug:: It’s just Trump being…
I definitely teared up with that one!
Gawd, I teared up at the story with the mom who gave the waitress a hug! Mom, I NEED A HUG TOO.
I had the craziest, most vivid dreams when I was pregnant, and most women I’ve talked to also had crazy, vivid dreams. I’d love to understand why that happens.
