Do you mean Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of Gran Turismo? Hidetaka Miyazaki is the Elden Ring & Dark Souls creator. I agree that it’s the corporate big-wigs at Sony that want to milk the GT series for more money. Considering the game has been in development since 2013 (in one way or another), it seems inevitable

I’m well aware of that, but Forza 7 came out in 2017, so it’s been a while since I’ve played that game. I really liked Forza 7's progression, but wasn’t a big fan of the physics. Horizon was the sweet spot of arcade fun with some sim-level physics options.

I love it - I haven’t been able to put in enough hours of gameplay to encounter many of the frustrations that the community is complaining about right now. I just see the payout increases and think “That’ll be cool when I eventually get there!”

“Instead of trying to calm your partner down, you validate their frustration,” Phillips says. “That may look like ribbing on your partner’s boss together or the unreasonable customer they had to deal with. Empathizing and laughing with your partner will help them feel safe enough to share their feelings with you. And

While there are plenty of cases of Americans owning bigger cars than we really need, many of us actually use these big cars as intended.

Indeed. I had never considered the Q, but while talking with my mechanic about Touaregs and Cayennes (because I wanted a Diesel), he suggested I take a look at the Q5 with the Supercharged 3.0T engine. Apparently that V6 is as reliable & stout an engine as you can get. And the SQ5 drives like a dream - I daily drive a

I did some research on the Stelvio when shopping for my wife’s next car, but wasn’t sure I’d be able to find a good mechanic for it... The Ti versions of the sedan & SUV seem to have all the niceties that I’d want, and the worst reliability complaints seem to be about the Quadrifoglio (which is comfortably out of my

If you have a car to sell or trade in, many times you can break even or come out ahead if you’re patient and open to buying something that maybe isn’t in as much demand...

Us Jalops like “excitement” in our vehicles - whether that’s great handling, invigorating acceleration, or the daily roulette we play when we guess “what will go wrong with my (insert one: rusted classic/unreliable import/beat-down racecar/David Tracy’d off-roader/etc.) will fail today?”

I’ve played Gran Turismo since the original, and it’s always been about introducing more people to “car culture”. It think there are a few factors at play:

I have GT7 on PS5 and it plays & looks fantastic. It definitely reminds me of the “classic” Gran Turismo progression, but I’ve only earned a few licenses and a half dozen “Menu Books” in about 5-10 hours of play. There seems to be a good amount to do so far, but it sounds like the “end game” activities are pretty

I don’t mind the always online connection in an MMO game like Destiny that encourages — and sometimes requires — multiplayer in nearly every game mode. But for GT7's campaign mode? It’s just out-of-touch and tone-deaf at best, and it reeks of corporate greed at worst...

Rage Racer was my introduction to the series I absolutely loved it — though I’m sad to say I never played R4. Sounds like it would have been right up my alley. Wipeout was the other series that seemed to perfectly match the art design to the racing style of the game.

Going to the strip club at lunch is perfectly fine.
