With the MGS movie in the works at Sony Pictures, it would make a lot of sense for some MGS remasters to be released for PS5 to hype up the movie and cash in on the extra exposure. Since MGS4 Guns of the Patriots is the only remaining PS exclusive that’s trapped on PS3 (if you don’t subscribe to PS Now), remastering

I really liked the design of Sony’s Vision concept car. With Honda’s manufacturing expertise and reputation for quality, this seems like a good match. We’ll see how it plays out, but I’m cautiously optimistic.

Or Fire/Fire since it’s extra hot!

What purpose would breeding serve? Without a competitive battle option and no traditional IVs for stats, there’s not much point. Breeding was always the most tedious part of the games, and I don’t miss it at all.

Budget is a factor - there’s a lot more demand for “affordable” cars these days than premium luI was shopping for a nice family vehicle under $25k and really wanted to get my wife a 2017+ Mazda CX-5 (I wanted the turbo). Turns out, Audi Q5s of similar mileage & age were less expensive because regular people are afraid

Can confirm. I wanted to get a CX-5 Turbo for my wife (replacing her Miata) since we’re expecting our first baby. The only problem is everyone wants a turbo CX-5, so all my local dealers had them listed with crazy mark-ups (used or new).

My first car was an 1988 Toyota Corolla SR5 (the front wheel drive coupe) that my Uncle sold me for $500 in 2003 when I turned 16. It got good gas mileage, was slow, and utterly reliable. I still get excited when I see one on the road to this day.

My sister has an ‘06 that was my mom’s car for a long time before that, and it’s a fantastic car. If she ever decides to sell it, I plan to buy it off her to use as my family-hauler & camping/adventure vehicle.

I learned abstruse is a word today, and I like it. Thanks!

I was aware of Chrono Trigger, but never owned an SNES, so I played Chrono Cross blissfully unaware of the previous story (other than the early story beats I saw at a friend’s house).

The music was fantastic, but the weakest track by far is the battle theme. I just can’t get over how abrasive it sounds.

That escalated quickly...

In a booth? We’ll snuggle up side by side.

Considering most of my gaming today is done on the Switch, I’m ecstatic that this is coming. I’ll wait for reviews (obviously), but am hoping for the best!

Agreed. Each generation has been an evolutionary improvement (we’ll have to wait & see with the Mk8 - seems good if you ignore the touch-sensitive buttons). I loved my previous MkV Rabbit(Golf), and am even happier with my current Mk6 GTI. I would love to get into a Mk7 GTI or R in the future.

Exactly.  The thresholds are easy to achieve through normal gameplay & exploration - it’s really not a grind.  I’m loving it so far, and can’t wait to see where the series goes after this.

This isn’t a generic checklist simulator. You’re free to play the game however you want, so you can speed through by catching as few Pokemon as possible if you want. But the game is fun & rewarding enough in its challenge & reward structure that it encourages you to explore.

Sony has been acquiring studios for years - heck, they bought 5 studios last year alone. This was not a reaction to the Microsoft purchase, though the timing makes it appear that way.  Sony has been working closely with Bungie since before Destiny 1 released - this was in the works for a long time.

Your weapons don’t break, but your Pokemon faint a lot!

Not yet at least. Based on history, you have a valid point.
