For now... It seems like they really nailed the competitive aspect, and doing so will buy them time to flesh out the casual appeal of the game. I expect we’ll see some DLC and updates over the next year that will add more features for gamers like me.

I’m not even a Kingdom Hearts fan, and I’m honestly impressed that Sora made it through Disney licensing-hell to make it into Smash. I haven’t even played enough of the game to unlock the full roster, so I don’t think I’ll pay for Sora, but I still think it’s pretty cool that he’s in!
