Barsanti’s sort of like a Bizarro version of Sean O’Neal: He has no idea how sarcasm works, so he lays it on so thick and obnoxiously that you wish he’d stop and just write a straightforward news story.

Also, maybe if it’s a comedian that you don’t like, just stop writing stories about them? Lord knows there’s thousands of terrible comedians that receive no AVClub coverage at all.

There should be a nostalgia entry that includes any more or cartoon released before 1990. This way, we can lump star wars, ghostbusters, whatever else the fuck boy nerds get mad about when girls or PoC get involved.

Do the people making these not understand how brackets are seeded? Or do these allocations really reflect the author’s prejudices? Cause there are a lot of Cinderallas in this bracket. Rick and Morty is a #10 seed, Kanye’s a #13, while Parks and Rec is a #2. Fans of The Americans shouldn’t be ranked five spots higher…

I’m not sure how to tell you this, but Star Wars fans almost certainly outnumber the fans of the rest of these series, and only fans of these series are voting.
