So now the Japanese concept of ‘Gothic Lolita’ fashion has become a ‘Lolita-inspired dress’ because why bother using words right. I have a hard time imagining anyone in Lolita dressing up as 2B.

Why does Kotaku keep pushing this game that everybody agrees is, at best, a middling and tedious affair with a great story?
One year in jail but no prison time?
The ‘most compelling mechanic’ of any Persona or SMT game is the deep catalog of goofy mythical gods and monsters to snatch up like Pokemon.
Maybe that’s something that the decade-long players would actually want. For all the single-run players, only spending 50-80 hours, the game is already absurdly over-automated. Find the cyan marker, hit E. Find the cyan marker, hit E.
The downsides of going digital. This is something I worry about all the time... any day now the Pirate bay might demand to take all those files back, and then what’ll I do?
This could be a great launching point for the Dark Geometry Universe. Pyramid Head can explain his falling-out with the Keeper from Evil Within and Yoko Taro.
You people are analyzing cartoon character nail lengths. You have brain worms.
“Your job is not going away, it’ll just be different! You won’t have to do all the boring stuff any more... and you won’t have a team... and we’ll only pay you for two hours a week, since you’re just overseeing the AI.”
It is so weird when gaming journalists don’t understand the concept of games. How you interact with the arbitrary rules of the game is what makes it a game, rather than, say, productivity software. If you’re told there’s a button you can press to have a 10% chance of winning , and a button that gives you a 100% chance…
Oddly enough I’ve had a couple of friends that they’re interested in Wartales but want to wait “until it leaves early access” - there seems to be a belief among those who don’t pay much attention to games that Wartales is still EA?
This is the plot of Inscryption.
You don’t understand, other countries are just American sub-cultures. Italians are a type of New Yorker, Swedes are a type of Minnesotans, and Germans are video game bad guys. There will never be a need to go outside of US borders.
Holy shit, you actually referred to ‘real Italians’ and went around interviewing Americans. Brilliant.
I am so thankful i never even thought about getting into Harry Potter. This shit rots brains.
I like this Kotaku game of just outright lying about what an anime is to see what might happen. I have to admit I fell for it when you guys called High Card a “death game” anime, because I couldn’t imagine why someone would lie about something like that, but I’m not falling for this being horror at least.
I can’t believe I fell for - of all things - a Kotaku headline. Don’t believe whatever mad editor thought that this should be called a ‘death game’ - it’s a drab detective pair fighting a drab Stand-of-the-week.
I don’t know how many times this needs to be said, but here we go again: you are both posting. They don’t care more than you do. There’s nothing to be gained from pretending that OP ‘cares so much’ while you’re a disinterested spectator; you are both. Just. Posting.
Uhh... the only example of offensiveness he could think of was something that theoretically might be offensive to Christians...” I don’t think he’s as opposed to Fox News as you might want to think.
I remember when some best friends used to shit on Kotaku all the time; good times for many reasons.
