Yep, hockey is actually a pretty big deal here. I want an MLB team but NHL always seemed like the best fit.

I keep hearing this as a reason the NHL can’t expand anywhere that already likes hockey. Can’t they just move Detroit and Columbus to the West any time they feel like it if they need to rebalance? Detroit being in the East already feels wrong and literally no living human being cares what conference the Blue Jackets…

I think NHL hockey would go over pretty well in Portland when you consider how blisteringly white the place still very much is.
