Proximate cause.

And snakes. And crickets.

It sure doesn’t. Also, water is wet.

Snakes also scare me. I’m also deathly afraid of crickets for some reason (the sound?). Also Ferris wheels that stop for a long time when I’m at the top. Also masks.

Yes.

The terrorists want to terrorize people.

I’m aware that terrorists want to scare people (the term “terrorists” sorta implies that).

That’s lovely for you, but I, for one, am scared and so are tons of other people. I used to live a 1/4 of a mile in Chelsea where the bomb was detonated and have friends who live with their young daughter 2 blocks from where the bomb went off---all the pictures fell off their walls and glass shattered everywhere

Short answer to your many questions: “No.”

Cool story, bro.

Yes, it’s the very best I can do.

Oh goodness. No. Just no.

Actually, I completely and 100% refute your point on its face. The fashion industry promotes the over-arching ideals of female beauty in Western society. It both reflects and reinforces the dominant paradigm of female beauty in our society.

I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I simply don’t think that the standards of women’s attractive -ness are as variable as you seem to think they are. In fact, I think the standards or female attractiveness in the US and most of Europe (the geographic areas I’m most familiar with) are pretty rigid, actually.

Those women are so, so gorgeous.

I speak the truth. I know the truth hurts—-sorry.

Yup.

I don’t at all think that there is an “Objective” standard to attractiveness, and if you read my comments you would know that.

I wear a size 8 and have no issues finding flattering clothing in the vast majority of stores I shop in.

It’s a standard size made in bulk by all mass retailers and high-fashion designers. I’m thoroughly confused with the OP’s point.
