This stuff always makes me think of the time Jenna on 30 Rock was learning teen lines for Gossip Girl. Then she found out she was really going to be playing the dying grandmother.

I bet there is a not-zero chance that he forgot they broke up. I know it was rumored that their relationship was a publicity stunt, so it makes me giggle to think he just plain forgot.

The entire trend of videos that are “fuck with your pet by doing X” needs to die. Some of the things are harmless but all of them encourage the attitude that pets are entertainment instead of responsibility.

I think that’s where #MeToo falls way short - it’s overly focused on singling out individuals instead of addressing the systemic nature of these problems. Much easier to burn one bad apple than for a whole industry to be accountable.
