I still have no idea what you’re talking about.

No, if you want to talk pure authenticity, they should have only been made for women.

look at them they are solely made for male shoe fiends

If Reebok really thought that these were going behind glass, never to be worn, they would have made these in a woman’s size. You know, like in the movie they’re honoring.

Wow, what a colossally unhelpful post. Obviously people wanted SHOES THAT ACTUALLY FIT, not merely shoes that one can technically put one’s feet into the same way one can put a pencil in a desk drawer.

There is actually a difference between men’s feet and women’s feet. Men tend to have broader feet with more of a rectangle shape, while women’s feet are slightly more triangular, and men’s ankles are definitely bonier. We also walk differently - men put more weight on the ball of the foot, while women do on the arch.

How big do you think women’s feet are? A men’s 8 is about a women’s 10, I’m 5'9 and my feet are not that big.

Most women don’t come close to being able to wear those sizes. I have large feet and the smallest size would be big on me.

Bullshit. They made 4 men’s sizes. That means most men could wear them, and 90% of women (anyone under six feet tall pretty much) couldn’t.

Stop.

They DON’T belong in a glass case. They belong on my feet at a comic-con.

It’s not different feet, it’s that the available men’s sizes (8 - 12) will only fit women who can wear men’s sizes of 10 - 14. Those women would need abnormally large feet.

YES! I bought the hell outta some Anovos replica Star Trek uniforms. Accurate pattern? Accurate color (especially that hard-as-heck TNG science teal) - SIGN ME UP!

This! I mean, there’s a reason why that Australian company has to constantly restock Rey’s boots. We cosplayers love the crap outta our screen accurate pieces!

This was 100% my first thought. 174 bucks for costume-accurate footwear? AWESOME, and a pretty good deal.

I think we disagree on your idea that people will not wear these shoes. As I said, everyone collects differently.

Anyone who thinks that geek girls a) don’t exist and b) don’t have money to spend is completely ignoring reality.

Sweetheart... do you think that guys are the only nerds out there with expendable income and a thirst for some awesome shoes? Please think before you post.

I cannot tell if you are being sarcastic. The number of women I know who love Alien is ALL OF THEM.

Do you actually have a citation on that only geek guys are the market, and that they are the only ones who would know what they are and “care”?

I guarantee you that female cosplay enthusiasts would have loved to buy these to wear. Everyone uses their collectibles differently!
