Exactly. When the terrorist threat is magnified out of proportion, it is easily used by politicians to support their own agendas, from “let’s arm everyone” to “increase the nuclear arsenal.” And it thereby sucks resources from issues affecting many more Americans in much worse ways.

And for those women (and the men who support them) who live in Virginia, vote Mark Herring over John Adams for Attorney General next week. Adams supports this Trump policy specifically, and opposes all abortion.

Terrorism is always horrible, especially in cases like this when there is little practical defense against it (where are the good men with a truck, right?).
