If we're being nitpicky (that's not a criticism) and talking about Criterion, Carnival of Souls is by no means a "recent" inductee into the Criterion Collection. It's spine number is 63 (out of about 750); the DVD was originally released by them well over a decade ago.

I'm in the same boat. I don't necessarily mind pop music, but I normally wouldn't spend any money on it. Electric Lady was worth every penny.

It's not surprising that Marilyn Manson comes off as the most normal person in this trio. He's obsessed with Kenny Powers, so he's one of the good ones.

I bought a new turntable yesterday, A Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC, so I ran to the record store to load up on some new LPs:

I can't imagine I'd be any different if I had his bank account.

The last episode airs this week. This series is more unhinged than the last series.

I don't think I'm going to make much effort to catch up on Harmontown until Jeff gets back. Kumail is great, but Jeff makes that podcast as good as it is. I like to think he would have called her out on such a lazy premise.

How are gavels involved? Please, be specific.

That was the point I was making. It sounds like it was lazy of her to fall back on that stereotype. I haven't listened to that episode of Harmontown yet or been exposed to anything else she's done other than this article, so that's as far as I can comment on her level of hate.

As soon as I read about media stored on a hard drive, I assume it's all illegal, as in stolen.

Does "legal" porno mean you paid for it? If so, what fucking planet are you from?

He may be a serial rapist, but I do agree, that's a fantastic robe.

I think it's because he's conflating philosophical materialism with commercial materialism. He's criticized atheists for their "materialistic worldview," and assumes that relates to buying things, I guess. So maybe he's trying to take ownership of that, or something. I've given up on understanding him, I just sit

"Thug" pisses me off the most. It's so blatantly obvious what word they intend. It also means I can't say "thug' anymore without coming across as a racist. It's like that Kids in the Hall skit where Mark McKinney is disappointed that he can't refer to a bundle of sticks the way he used to.

It's a fucking dumb stereotype that lesbians hate men.

The second season of Toast of London. That, or Claudia O'Doherty. She's not specific to 2014, though.

Candace Cameron shares some of the same views as her brother, so yes, especially DJ Tanner.

And DJs. Radio or otherwise.

Burt Bacharach once strangled his neighbor's cat to know the sensation of taking a life.
