"People were beginning to question my hatred of Cleveland during 2014."
Why does hating terrible music make one a racist? Oh, right, every thing is about race. Fucking idiot.
You're a current student who remembers fans calling for Zwick to start over Smith nine years ago?
Ehhhhh while some OSU fans might be racist, I highly doubt that's why they want to band to play instead of canned music. Hell your band plays half time music by black artists all the time and I'm sure the people love it.
I even remember people calling for Justin Zwick to start over Troy Smith a full season after Troy took the job.
Buckeye fan here, my favorite thing to complain about is the relatively low lifecycle of a new pair of socks. I mean really, after about 3-4 washes they're no where near all fluffy and soft and can't be worn anymore. I just find it terrible.
You forgot the Hawks! But I guess everyone does until April.
Christ, at least the Bulls are delivering for me after the worst Bears season in recent memory. Good luck out there in Cleveland, man.
LeBron definitely hasn't been himself. His weight loss is something that I've wondered about, particularly as it effects his ability in the paint. Does that mean he can't power through to the rim like he typically could? Did he lose muscle mass along with the weight? Maybe. But, I can't believe that alone would…
I think so, part of what made him better than everyone else was his Athleticism coupled with his size. dude could legit guard any position on the floor. Not so much anymore since all the weight loss.
As a Jew, I thought it was pretty okay.
Cavs fans shouldn't break any windows tonight over his performance either.
I don't think getting rid of Blatt would be the final solution to the Cavs' problem.
I think Blatt might be an idiot. We will see if he can corral his team together but I dunno.
His long-term reputation is based on one thing: Catching or surpassing Jordan's six rings. That's not going to happen in Cleveland. LeBron has maybe 7-8 more years. If Kobe wasn't such a dick, maybe the Lakers could have had a chance at getting LeBron and other major players.
If LeBron doesn't win another ring, especially if he comes up short in another Finals or two, I can hardly wait* for the think pieces when he retires comparing him to guys like Peyton Manning.
*in a "this better be Drew or Albert eviscerating the media" sort of way.
Shit, Love is part of the problem. For how good he is offensively, he is that bad or worse on defense. And I've seen more hustle out of Allen Iverson in practice than I have from Love some games...
They went from Irving-Varejão to Triscuit Thompson and some guy named Matthew Dellavedova who I think won a contest or was maybe a summer intern or something. So...depth is an issue.
Lebron would've definitely had a better chance to win in Miami this year but going back to Cleveland helped his reputation long-term even if he doesn't win a title. I think he hated being seen as a villain.
