I’m here for this. Agreed. You put your head in the lion’s mouth you can’t be shocked when the teeth scratch your skull. No sympathy at all. No Black man over 16 years old has lived in a world without ample evidence of White women being prepared to bed or dead a Black man’s existence at her whim.

Coming from the other side of it, I stopped dating a Black man when it became obvious he was only dating me to piss off his White-hating parents. He was a good man, but that’s no basis for a good relationship. It’s a minefield. It makes me sad that it’s so but it’s reality. God bless everyone who makes it work…

I’m sorry, and I’ll probably get dragged for this but I find it difficult to get too emotionally invested in the plight of a Black man who experiences racial terrorism at the hands of a white woman he’s in a relationship with.
