@Hardcore: If I hadn't been woken up 5 hours before my alarm today, I wouldn't have had the chance. All to hear that "It's snowing" from my own "Personal assistant".

I'm kinda sad to have to do it, but HOW THE HELL has nobody made a "Dictation" joke about this "Personal Assistant"??

@soberum: From what I saw, those are the names they wrestled as...and IMDB credits Dump with quite a few movies, as well. Guess it's just one of those things that doesn't sound so good in English.

@MonkeyChunks: Heeey...gotta respect the Dump. From her Wiki:

types /played into WoW = That's...err...damn.

God that looks good... I haven't been disappointed by Aion yet, been really enjoying the change after playing WoW for a long time. As long as my machine can handle all this, bring it on!

@Ken: Not certain what resources you're looking for specifically, but I'd be glad to track down something if you're looking for retraining programs, military career/civilian counterparts, or whatnot. #callofdutymodernwarfare

@Ken: Well, then don't buy their product, plain and simple. They're going to be printing money this holiday season, and while I'd happily give them $60 of my own, I can't afford it at launch. Ah well. Lil help, Crecente? ;)

@Ken: Of course, there will always be the "means to an end" when looking at corporate donations, but I guess my point got a bit muddled. Yes, Activision is out for publicity. Yes, they'll have the biggest launch of the year with this game. Yes, they announced this with intent to add to sales.

@RicoTheSaboteur: Not to sound like a dick, but you're not looking at the big picture here. There are many, many specialties in the military with NO civilian professional counterparts. For example, my occupation within the Air Force was the maintenance of weapons systems, munitions, and equipment on the Boeing

@potatojenkins: Deterrence has always been the primary role of the military, and that's the point. Keeping the really bad guys from doing anything because they know we'll get em. Historically, this hasn't always met with the greatest success, but regardless, the military is there so we're not overrun with those

Well, it's been a while since I posted on Kotaku, and since I work and volunteer with other Veterans, I figured I'd toss in my two cents.

Pshaw... Another Asmo with a big ego...guess being upside down caused all the blood to rush to your head.

@ghost4: Oh, you mean flux? The stuff I've made a fortune selling because most people are too damn lazy to go farm? Or the armor that I've made even MORE off selling, for exactly the same reason.

He is Carlos, Man of Love...

@djricekcn: As the other two replies and the article pointed out, these people would take a common item (1 Iron Ore, for example) and set the price at 10 million gold, then go do whatever they like for hours at a time. Some even went as far as advertising "Wasting Server Space" and things like that. After a GREAT

Riiiight...because the new content from last patch didn't really make Ulduar a waste of time or anything...or give anyone with spare time and an internet connection a lv80 toon in 2 weeks or less...

@Jethos: Bah, don't be so quick with the "For the horde" crap when my 80 Priest could 1-shot ya. ;)

Hey...thanks for the spolier tag for those of us who were just catching the repeat now.
