You can also fix this with Chrome's built-in 'Click-to-Play' plugin setting. You just click the video or whatever on the tab you want to watch ~ problem sorted!
If I have all my music and films on one computer, but want to 'stream' it to another computer over my wireless network, is this still using up bandwidth, and is my ISP charging me for this (like they would if I was streaming from, say, Youtube?
But, because it doesn't need root, it doesn't back up app data... only .apk files...

For the ringer and notification sounds, I use the 'Quiet Hours' feature in CyanogenMod. Its really useful: at 10:30pm it silences all notifications and haptic feedback, and re enables them at 6am. Works a treat for my needs!
