Porsche 918 = Toyota Camry of hypercars.

Came here hoping to see this. Leaving satisfied.

If it’s just the use of the hydrants that they are worried about can they call a pool-filling service to send a water tanker? Seriously, I think the larger concern is that someone gets injured or drowns on a city street as a result of drunken block-party foolishness, or that the idiots who filled it leave it

While I have issues with some of the builder’s stylistic cues (flat black, JETFIRE, triple headlights) it looks well executed. BUT without any kind of computer nannies to control the torque steer on a 90's FWD car anything north of 300 hp is not just a waste, but a danger to anyone else on the road. So I have to say

I have to say CP. I just don’t see the attraction of a 13B in this car when the first gen RX-7 is even more iconic. If you’re going to swap an engine into this why not drop a V8 in and turn it into a TR-8?

You know, this wouldn’t be that bad without the tail fins and if that proboscis of a grill opening was toned down a bit.

This was my thought as well.

No, not crazy. The original Supra was the top trim line for the Celica and it was indeed referred to as the Celica Supra. If I remember correctly the main exterior trait that distinguished it from the rest of the model line was a Targa band.

Interesting that the accident involving the Tesla reportedly involved a plain white tractor trailer crossing perpendicularly in front of the Tesla.

Regarding Tesla: If Tesla’s press release is correct, it’s system (although clearly not mature enough for full autonomous driving) is still statistically safer than human beings operating cars on their own without computer-assisted accident avoidance systems on a fatality-per-miles-travelled basis. However, most

.... and the audience said, “What?”

From the rust I’m seeing, I guarantee there’s a lot more we are not seeing. Add that to a non-starting engine and it’s a CP for me. Unless you can get it running an moving to evaluate the mechanicals it’s an automatic sub-$1K car just from the unknowns alone. That doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be a fun project for someone

Was he driving a Mustang perchance?

Not really a fan of this body style Corvette, but the convertible is the best looking of the bunch and this is in really nice shape for the $$$. Much better option than the NPCP offering.

While I like the idea of a Wankel-4-SBC swap, without the corresponding suspension work to carry the extra weight this is a CP all the way. This is supposed to be a sports car! Don’t get me wrong, with the correct struts and springs this could be a blast, but if I could buy a car properly set up to put the V* power to

And I thought the “Lo Numba” plate was a R.I. thing.

I see what you did there (LOL!).

Isn’t tape over the CEL considered a dealer-added extra service for BMW and Audis?

Her other car is a Mustang.

Came here hoping for “Russian” dash cam video. Leaving very disappointed.
