Never thought these looked particularly helpful because they block access under the car from the sides, jack stands take up a lot less real estate and are easier to work around and thus are worth the extra time to set up if I’m doing the kind of work that requires this kind of space.

The Ocean State (RI) “wave” plate.  Unfortunately they are talking about retiring this beautifully simple design. (Can’t figure out how to link a photo.)

Audi TT - The parts may come from the VW bin but good luck sourcing cheap OEM VW parts with an Audi VIN.  I don’t know about other places in the country but the dealers near me are horrible on this point.

Solstice-Sky? Might as well have a coupe given the lengthy and absurd process for raising and lowering the top on these things.  I almost bought one of these to replace a totaled NB Miata until I realized that I wouldn’t be able to flip the top up and down while sitting at a traffic light anymore.

Fines payable to the government for violations like this are generally not dischargable debts under the Bankruptcy Code, precisely to prevent scoflaws like this from doing WTF they want and then running for the shelter of bankruptcy.  If you do the crime, don’t think your getting out of paying the fine.

Nothing but stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love me some good rag-top.

Are head gaskets still on the “consumables” list?

ALL THE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!

How about the Jag F-Type ... the 6-cylinder supercharged version that still comes with 3 pedals? I’ve seen low mile versions under $40k.

New and even uglier than before, the Nissan GT-R50 ... because we really don’t want to sell cars anymore.

Touche!

Explain to be why this even rates as newsworthy?  This statement describes every Subaru on the road, including the 2 I had the unfortunate experience of owning.

ALL THE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What year Fiero? GM gave the car a brand new suspension for the last year (1988). If he drove any other year then his comment is not applicable to the Mera or any other 1988 Fiero.

I don’t understand why you insist on referring to these as “Restorations.” They are Resto-mods. Don’t get me wrong, I love what Singer has done with these machines, but they are no longer Porsches. Better, yes, but they have been so dramatically altered in so many areas that they really are just an homage to the

Saw this last night. I presume that I am thinking about the same far-fetched RAF scene. My son and I left the theater thinking that scene was SO unbelievable that it had to be true because no screenwriter would have the balls to put something like that in a movie if it wasn’t true. Disappointed (but not surprised) to

Good luck finding one. They will probably make like 10of them for the entire US market all in the same color and option package. The Mazda 6 is available with a 6MT too but harder to find than hens’ teeth.

Agreed. I’d like to see Speedycop’s paperwork. I know there’s alot of stuff that falls outside of the $500 cap (e.g. all safety equipment like roll cage, fuel cell, tires, brakes ...) but I thought the Lemons organizers had an awful lot of leeway to call “Bullshit” on the “I got this free” or “I had this lying around
