The little Nissan trucks are dirt simple and last forever. It is the closest thing to the Japanese trucks of the 70s and 80s that you can still buy. They are what they are but for what they are? Pretty awesome.

Most people could give a shit about emissions. I live in a state that doesn’t do emissions testing. I wish I could get a deal on one of these diesel VWs.

Honda has flat gone to hell. I bought a 2009 Civic with a rear end out of alignment and no way to adjust it. Wore out the rear tires at 8,000 miles. Seats like church pews too. The car was well built. Just a bad design. The Hondas of the 80s and 90s that last forever? They don’t make those anymore.

I guess rules are rules but I am still a little stumped by the outrage over VW’s gaming the EPA. Most of these rules are BS. Living through the 70s and 80s taught me what evil these goobers can do to cars.

As the proud owner of a 2000 Towncar, I can say for sure that no Escape will be on the road 25 years from now. Panthers forever!
