AoS is under no obligation to disintegrate half their cast. It is possible to flip a coin and come up heads 10 times in a row, after all. (And maybe the Inhumans cast’s flips come up all tails....)

it feels like the level of assassination and execution are unsustainable over a long period. In this episode alone we see five executions just aboard one ship.

TOS era Roddenberry had its share of Starfleet captains and other individuals who went mad in the pursuit of a goal, bringing them into direct conflict with Kirk and crew. Captain Tracey of the Exeter for instance, from The Omega Glory.

That’s not an entirely fair reading of the text of the TNG episode, though it wasn’t perfect, and it would have been better if they had used a male actor to portray Soren, as Jonathan Frakes has said.

but it WAS a surprising end and it WAS completely opposite a conclusion from what The Next Generation would have done

It is indeed this poisonous viewpoint that leads producers to only consider casting white actors in so many leading roles, because they don’t think a white audience will identify with them otherwise. This is certainly mistaken.

So what I’m getting from what you’re saying is that humans made things happen to cause the climate to accelerate in a particular direction of change. Got it, thanks!

Radiolab’s More Perfect podcast had an enlightening episode on the topic of lethal injection, and the increasing supply issues:

Quite stark, really.

Well, they could always send a ship to explore another galaxy. It would be a new and logical expansion of the Trek universe. TOS Enterprise left (barely) the Milky Way a couple of times, and the Enterprise-D briefly popped into M33 in Where No One Has Gone Before, but there been scarcely any other hints as to what’s

Maybe amend to “...wherein Batman will never happen because the Bruce Wayne of this world has above average intelligence, but merely average physical potential.”

The music in the video actually originated in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. (Watch the scene that first showed off the refit Enterprise.)

I don’t think Yara has enough ships with her to sail Dany’s army over the sea. My guess is they’ll let the Masters disembark from the ships and start to lay siege to the pyramid full of Unsullied, then have the Dothraki show up from behind and massacre the Masters’ army on land, leaving a nice fleet of empty ships
