Dreadfully awful. Belongs in the litterbin with the newspaper.

The man never rolled a d4 in his life.
T&EASGJ! is still a bit hit or miss for me. Most episodes just fall flat for me, but very occasionally, there will be one episode where everything just works and I can’t help laughing at the utter absurdity.
/pol/ has broken your brain.
Hot take? Not really. I honestly think Pulp Fiction might be the most over-rated movie of all time. To be clear, I don’t think it’s a bad movie, it’s just incredibly self-important, fussy and arrogant. So. Very. Pretentious.
And amnesty has been inside of us all along.
What’s going on it a hugely over-rated movie that mistakes time-slips for clever and mistakes a couple of iconic scenes for being an actual good film.
The wall was the friends we alienated along the way.
Home Movies.
Big disagree here. Phantom Menace is just about unwatchable. Jar Jar, a near-incomprehensible plot, an unbearably bad child actor (not his fault, but it doesn’t make it any easier to watch), an increasingly ludicrous junkpile of contrivances and dumb character decisions culminating in a climax involving an…
I ended up hating rap because, well, I grew up in the 90's - as a pacifistic young girl, nothing going on in the major rap scene was anything that I was looking for. (With a brief exception for the surrealist stuff coming out between ‘95-’98.) From where I was sitting, it was all just drugs, guns, “bitches”, and…
I know the whole kinja thing hasn’t exactly been kind to you AV Club guys, but I really appreciate being introduced to a blog / commenters that aren’t so... monomaniacal and strident as some of the kinja sites are devolving into.
More and more I’m coming to the conclusion that the reason I’ve hung out on the AV Club for over a decade is that I get introduced to good pop culture without getting put off by the die hard fans. People who come here want to talk about many things they like. They usually aren’t wrapped up in one single show or band…
Me know lot of artists and illustrators, and issue not that America forgot how to draw, it that this wave of pseudo-folk art hit, where people go to art school for 4 years so they can learn to look like they not know how to draw, because it feel more “honest” or whatever.
Grr, argh - I now have two accounts (seemingly identical) because in order to link to my legacy AVC account I had to link to social media, but I had to choose a slightly different username because I’d registered as a burner... this is so stupid.
ABBA. I always thought they were saccharine and awful and everything wrong with pop music. I thought that until I saw my absolute favorite episode of Community, “Epidemiology”, and I found myself liking Dean Pelton’s music so much that I had to listen to it on my own. And yes, they still wrote some incredibly…
Ditto- the terrible look/designs is what turned me off of it (same with Adventure Time and Gravity Falls). I read an article recently that asserted that America forgot how to draw sometime in the mid 90s.
To be fair, there is a language barrier between American right wing trolls and their Russian troll masters. Mistakes are bound to happen.
Actually I’m surprised the plan wasn’t “Buy up all the copies of her book so that the Libs can’t get their hands on them.”
