I have no idea how deep this ironic rabbit hole goes.

The last time I tried a show based on strong central performances and the fact that I was uncomfortably attracted to several members of the cast, I ended up watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix.

Gaaaah, who thought putting that realistically-styled 15 year old girl in the same universe as the ultra-deformed cartoon monsters of the sonic art style would ever possibly be a good idea?

Nope, sorry, it already has gay people right there in the plot description.

Because "funding her lifestyle" is somehow a bad thing. Because the only purpose for Patreon is so that the -exact- amount of funds contributed can go into the creation of the product and not at all so content creators can continue to make content while also paying their bills.

Nobody conned anyone. A bunch of jerks were awful, and people gave her a ton of money to make themselves feel better about not being said jerks. That may have been a stupid impulse, but Anita did literally nothing wrong.

She has been releasing videos consistently. She has slightly changed the formula on the videos - after handling it one way for an extended period of time. Are all of you people completely insane?

Ah. I'll admit, I know very little about your heterosexual marriage rituals.

Are we sure that she isn't wearing it? I tried to check, but her right hand is kind tucked under her left one.

Something tells me that Felicity's new Oracle-ification is gonna pretty resolved by the end of this season. Some techy, nanobot-y something or other from Ray Palmer or Curtis will get her walking again. That's what happened to Ray last season, right?

I've also been wondering why a superhero who goes by "the Green Arrow" and whose main gimmick is archery has barely been using his bow and arrow for most of the past two seasons. Seriously - every fight with Ra's al Ghul was just them fighting with swords. I kept shouting at the screen "Shoot him! Shoot him from far

The original comment was about Sarah Jessica Parker, though. So it's not wrong, but perhaps overly aggressive.

This game sounds like my exact cup of tea. Horror and complex dialogue systems? Yes please. Now if only I wasn't have to save literally every dollar of my money in order to pay for PAX south in a couple of days.

That latter point is fair. I think each show was trying to highlight a different failing of militaristic thinking, and did so in different ways - with both of them doing a fine job. (2005 leaned a lot harder on "racial second-class as convenient scapegoat")

I don't necessarily agree with some of those arguments (the one about Roy is on-point, though.) I feel like Ed's single-mindedness in his pursuit of his goals was a strength (and NEVER bought him and Winry as a couple). I felt like both Winry and Hawkeye were exceptionally well-drawn, if a little out out-of-focus.

I mean, I'm not gonna tell you how to feel. But surely the 2005 Lust, with her internal struggles and moral complexities, was a more interesting character than "I've got scary nails, I'm so evil" Brotherhood Lust?

I'm really surprised that someone could argue that "basically just an evil vamp" Lust is more interesting than the rich, complex character she's portrayed as in the original.Actually, of the two shows, the original does more interesting things with MOST of the homunculi:

Lust - Rich, complex, conflicted.
Wrath -

14 year old me was UNREASONABLY invested in the ToyaxYukito pairing. If only because it was actually canon.

Truly, this is the most noble of lifestyles.

It's EXACTLY like Grindr.
