The problem being neither Sony or Naughty Dog own Crash. He unfortunately belongs to Activision, so even if Sony or ND wanted to bring him back they would have to go through Acti to do it.

I’m sure they’ll bring Crash back one day, but I highly doubt it will be any time soon.
