That’s exactly what happens to me as well.

Yeah once you get the controls down, its fairly good, it gets pretty good after you visit the Lady of the Lake. The writing for narrative and acting is pretty bad, but if you are into the books at all and just eager to push the narrative forward, its easy to look past the bad acting and cheesy story telling. The…
Oh yeah it’s brutal. Some of them are still on MS-DOS blue screens
“ I’ll try to make some time when I get the occasional moment to chat and provide input, though. Especially in your programming channel. I always enjoy trying to help out those looking to learn programming. “
“It might not sound like it, but the logic of understanding how something works, and good organization are very key to software programming, so the general sentiments of your guide could definitely be applicable to a number of things, very interesting.”
“You gotta go with what you love doing. It might be a bit of a risk, I’m sure, but if you love baking, you should try and grow that.”
“Yeah, I wouldn’t recommend streaming it for you first playthrough. It’s my favorite game of all time (I have three tattoos based on the game lol), but it does require some focus.”
It’s just the way the world works.
“Hmm, I wonder why they didn’t sell the game portion of it”
It’s an inside source. There won’t be any official statement until the doors start closing, even employees won’t know until probably weeks before it happens for a number of reasons.
These are both excellent points. The more I look at that shirt, the more it looks like the actual Nazi flag turned on its side. And your observation about the orientation of the swastika is spot-on—and something I’d hope most of the “but what about...” folks are paying attention to.
And I definitely agree with you re:…
They are going out of buisness. They were supposed to start shutting down stores nationwide but found capital to keep it running for maybe another year, probably in hopes of selling off its assets before the hammer falls.
I’m seeing a few folks (both in the approved comments and the greys) pointing out that the swastika had (and has) other cultural associations apart from the Nazi regime of WW II-era Germany.
My natural inclination is to react to this attempt at tossing a red herring into the discussion with anger, but I’m going to try…
GameStop isn’t a company that’s interested in updating their registers or software. That would require spending money on something where they won’t see a direct return on investment and would require a lot of expense to retrofit all of the stores nationwide at a time when the business is failing.
This is the real answer. Gamestop has horrendously outdated systems and presumably an underfunded supply chain and logistics department. On top of likely purposefully overselling, I’m fairly certain there is a certain amount of them just straight up fucking something up along the way.
My general reaction to leaks of any kind is, “Well, that sucks—and hopefully they can find out who the jackass in the chain of custody is—but, again, this is why I avoid media associated with a property I want to experience fresh in the weeks prior to release.”
I mean, I get it—some spoilers slap you right in the face,…
This is absolutely stomach-turning. Any time someone tells me “rape culture” doesn’t exist (and yes, I know, “well, actually” brigade, she wasn’t raped in this instance), I point to shit like this; a woman can be assaulted—in the US, Japan, or anywhere else—and the onus inevitably comes back to her, even if her…
Jesus Christ, Kinja. Go home, you’re drunk.
