3 was my first entry in the series as well! Had to wait on the Kiwami releases to play the first two. Zero is already available on PC, and evidently the current plan is to bring all of the mainline Yakuza games to PC.

...will definitely be double-dipping.

I still haven’t finished 6.  Got pretty damn far in it, and then got distracted by work and some other titles; I’ve heard it’s coming to PC, so I think I’m going to hold out for Dragon Engine at 60 FPS.

It should be noted that the idol in question is Haruka, Kazuma Kiryu’s adopted daughter who is first met in the original Yakuza (and shows up in every game since). She’s also notable for being a pretty badass kid.

It would be nice to finally get a physical copy of 5.

Online gaming. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy... except 4chan/Reddit. We must be cautious.

I always have to follow up the “I’m a gamer” with “I started in the 90's and don’t care about the current culture”.

hey, if it makes you happy lol

it’s really hard for me to go back to older games after playing bloodborne / ds3 - yet i’ve already bought this game twice (original version and pc remaster) - why am i tempted to buy it a third time?

Sorry, I meant the 1963 film version of Jackson’s novel, The Haunting. The House on Haunted Hill is something else entirely; I think he’s seen the remake with Geoffrey Rush but not the Vincent Price original.

Use melee attacks. I personally just run around using the weapon I like (sword) and then being unarmed as my second weapon slot. So when the enemy is down to a fourth of their life, I switch to my second weapon slot and go melee.

Not so dumb, took me a while to find out myself;

There’s a good word to describe an epically long journey across an ancient world that is fraught with hostile beasts and other dangers, and for some reason I just can’t fucking remember it right now.

Some people took issue with the game’s portrayal of cops and Spider-Man’s relationship to them. Kotaku’s Heather Alexandra critiqued the game’s black and white approach to law enforcement as predominantly unimpeachable good guys and criminals as violent anarchists, but she wasn’t alone. “The action-packed tale of ‘Mega’ Manfred Jones (Mark Wahlberg), a no-nonsense cop with a chip on his shoulder and a heart of gold. One day, when Manfred loses his hand in a drug bust gone south, he’s enlisted in a secret government program to blend ballistics with prosthetics, headed by Cal ‘Light’ Toren (Jonah

I think I dislike it for two reasons:

First, on a technical level, it’s the most poorly-written of the novels. That’s just professional observation talking; it’s not a comment on whether or not the story is entertaining—it’s just a bit of a kludge-fest in terms of its prose.

Second—and this is entirely personal (and

For the record, I am also a huge DCAU fan, one who watched most of the shows as they were initially coming out, as I assume you also did. I was always under the impression in TAS that she was much closer to Robin’s age, and figured she’d end up with Robin. Timm’s art style doesn’t help much with discerning the age of

You should’ve done your research and read the reviews for the 64gb card.. they always end up dying fast. Get a 32GB for $60.. it’s more than enough storage.

That is ridiculous and you’re absolutely right. I’m pretty sure Nintendo allows you to use any third party sd card, which is surprising considering that Nintendo pretty much locks off most of their accessories to their own stuff only.

Sure. Technically speaking it is the better handheld than the 3ds. But—Sony just didn’t have the kind of games people were willing to play on a handheld. Nintendo does.
