But this is not about impulse control. One-time cheating is impulse control. We’re talking about a full affair. This has nothing to do with impulses, it’s a 100% conscious, continuous choice.

Cheating is still wrong! You have so many other options without the need for taking agency out of your wife. For starters, you could, you know, talk to her? Say that you respect her unwillingness to have sex, but four years is a bit too much for you, so maybe you can work it out together. You know what the difference

Except you should at least tell the person you’re advising that your advice isn’t morally correct at all. DNL should have, at the very least, said the same things people have said in this thread, about how this would hurt his wife even more and might be financially better for him at her expense. Instead all he gets is

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard, but women don't need adult supervision. They are, in fact, adults.

If you left a cat alone at home for a week, you shouldn’t be anywhere around kids, nevermind have some of your own.

Crafty uses of zip ties: punch holes in your socks. Just do it.

You can't reverse the genders because doing that is a necessity for women because of violence against women. A man wouldn't need to do it in the first place.

This is actually a really good life hack. Thanks for the tip!

One-star reviews are actually pretty useful when they’re valid. I see them the most in things that simply don’t work. Some apps have one-star reviews because they crash on launch, programs might simply not do anything, physical products are grossly different from the description, etc. Usually if most recent reviews

If you see what comment I replied to you’ll notice I was answering “How does being primary caregivers have anything to do with salary?”. That’s how and why being primary caregivers affects salaries. As for not being forced, you might need a reality check on that. Do you think women are often the ones who wash dishes

Every office needs one of you.

One party. The employer should have a better sick day policy and is paying for their own mistakes.

Think about it like this: if women have to unjustly spend unpaid time and effort to do volunteer work, of course they will get less money. But this isn’t about choice. It’s about being shoved all the work a child entails, in a way that’s detrimental to their jobs and salaries, because they are women. That’s 23% less

Dude I have no idea which comment you replied to. Is it the one about nazis? Trying too hard is better than not trying at all.

Did you actually read my comment?

Oh yeah, I actually have no idea what felony means. And the woman would probably want to press charges. I don’t think the employees minded, though.

So... What is the secret? Other than writing thank you notes? Because if that’s it, this whole post would have fit in a single tweet...

It’s even less confrotational if you focus on the “me” and not on the “you”. Instead of asking “what do you mean by that”, say “wait... I don’t get it”.

Just to be sure, do you mean white people suffer from reverse racism, or are you actually in the right because it is true that other ethnic groups can be racist (for example, an anti-black latinx)?

Disordely conduct, disturbing the peace, breaking noise laws, and I imagine there’s probably a specific law for deliberately making a loud noise at someone else. Especially an air horn, it might actually damage a person’s ear.
