Even if we can’t see out character’s face and body, animation tells us a lot about characters in first person games.…

It’s just not the same unless I’m perpetually pressing forward on the joystick and occasionally pressing a button....
It’s the shooting mechanics that ruined the game for me. The auto aim to win thing is so annoying.

In addition to new games? Absolutely. There are a lot of old AAA games that I’d totally replay (or play for the first time) if I had them on Switch, solely because it’s portable.
More AAA games on Switch are always a good thing.

They are just squashing bugs at this point and just throw in some QoL things here and there... at least they are listening to the players now. They are still fairly silent though about what they plan to add next.

This was a fascinating read. I’m always amazed at how fans of games like this are able to essentially expand the gameplay beyond what was intended. It reminds of when “adventure maps” came out for MineCraft that essentially created scripted story missions in a game that - at the time - had no tools for that.

Long live the melee jump! I like saving a bit of juice for when I’m just about to touch down, and I then hit it for a final little swoop upwards before landing.
This move doesn’t break the game and I’m sure Hello Games is fully aware that removing it would make the game slower and less fun.
Even if it was free, they could just do what Steam does. Have a section where you can see previous alias’ the player has used in the past.
