The switch may well flop, but I think VR is doomed to be niche. It’s just flat too expensive. That and you look like a dumbass playing VR. It may be more immersive than previous attempts, but it’s going to die on the vine like other attempts to make 3D stick.

The answer to the first question is almost certainly yes by virtue of the fact that it’s portable. It’s either that or the battery will last 20 minutes.
