C’mon now sweetie, how do you really feel?

Somebody’s repressing his gay desires, and it really shows.

They knew after Bush’s two terms they needed to draw minority voters to the party, particularly Hispanics as a great percentage are working class and living in red states. Karl Rove warned of this at the forefront of the Tea Party movement and the veer to the right during Obama’s first term.

It’s still under a hundred days into an administration plagued (kind of literally) with the obligatory Democratic “Fixing What The Republican In Office Fucked Up”, only this time it’s during a pandemic we didn’t respond to correctly while, and at the same time, dealing with a literal attempted coup during the

Tim Walz is a badass. Period. A 24 year Veteran Command Sgt. Major turned High School teacher turned MN Governor... He’s probably one of the things I miss about the state.

Wow. You need to get the fuck out... now. Of life. Eat a fucking bullet you knee-jerk shitrag. Try to find peace in the fact that your entire world is crumbling around you, Trump won’t save you, and your toxic worldview gets more and more shoved under the rock it came from day by day. I guaran-fucking-tee you’re

He was pulled out of his Tractor-Trailer, IIRC.

Modern safety requirements likely killed the small pickup.

I had to laugh when every sub-contractor and employee working on our neighbors house (in a cul-de-sac, mind you) each drove their truck-nutted, lifted, and vajazzled quad-cab HD to work... with nothing in the bed but a tool bag. All the big material was delivered by the lumberyard.

Agree 100%, though $10/gallon would have me hunting for BEV conversion kits for my Scout sooner rather than later. I’m hoping to get at least another 5 years or more from the original motor, and conversions can only get better with time, right?

You sound ridiculous.

Polestar has a valet test drive program in the Bay Area... from what I gather, they drop off your selected tester overnight IIRC (I assume you can plug it in a 110v to charge it at least a little).  I’m just outside their boundary, otherwise we’d be trying one out.

Nah, it’s just dumb. It portends nothing.

Promise them Prime Rib, deliver a banged-up, freezer burned box of steak-ummms.

We’ve had it running a couple weeks now... we generate 7x the power we consume for most of the day, selling what we don’t use.  We get a credit/payment at the end of the year, from what I’ve gathered through communication with County agencies.  Transition between panels/battery and grid/battery is seamless. We haven’t

Again proving Anecdotes don’t mean shit.

To be fair, every shred of my own personal anecdotal evidence points to this being true... but even I can point to the specific vehicles themselves and not the automakers being at fault, specifically the ‘83 Camaro Berlinetta being my first and only GM I bought in ‘95,  vs. the three newer Ford’s I owned (91 Escort,

It’s one of those things where if you have the time and space, you could tackle what you felt was within your wheelhouse and slowly but steadily have a shop or like-minded soul do work as you can pay/barter for it.

I feel lucky that my little-used tools are things like line-flaring tools and small tubing benders and the like.  I’ll never regert buying my Rivnut tool and kit... that bugger’s come in more handy than I ever imagined.

I have enough brake line and accessories from one disc conversion to do another three, & after replacing almost every fastener in my Scout, I’ve a plethora of shit I bought from Amazon that either didn’t work, or it made more sense to buy 25 widgets when I only needed 5 because cheap....  I could start my own swap
