I still kick myself every year when I goto the big local gaming convention. I was a little too into MtG way back just before it got really big in the mid 90s. I had a complete collection up to/including Arabian Nights, including Alpha and Beta editions.

Of course in the early 00' when all my friends had quit playing

I am against calling them bullet trains. I prefer wizard trains.

The line from LA to SF? You mean the one that is wildly behind schedule, billions of dollars over budget and was supposed to have the easy central valley line open last year but has yet to lay a mile of track? Goodness, they haven’t even secured the right-of-ways for the first segment yet and at the rate they are

People in Calif. are complaining about the SF-LA one, with a group that has been getting more vocal. I’m sure there is always a contingent of people complaining about the costs of the taxpayer into infrastructure projects.

Maybe not cross country but local would be enough to compete and put a dent in the airline stranglehold. I’m in Calif., and lines from LA to Vegas and LA to SF are enough for many Californians for now.

Do people hate bullet trains? Is that a thing?

I never understood why people hate the idea of bullet trains so much when their main purpose would be to compete with airlines.

I had the PS2 ones - it was surprisingly comfortable to hold, but the button layout makes it a turn-based RPG only controller - no DMC with that sucker.

The ps2 had its fair share of bizzare controllers

Yes :(

One of my co-workers does ultra-running, and he told me about this race, and then I caught the documentary on Netflix. Said co-worker has done other races of Laz’, like the Last Annual Vol State Road Race, and he’s planning to apply for the BM next year. He’s totally nuts :P

This is the exact reason my kids are not even allowed to touch the physical disc of Breath of the Wild until I have finished the game. Some say this technique is to heavy handed, even draconian, and to them I say “I’m gonna need you to take your opinion and shove it way up your butt. Way up there. Nope, a little

I let my 1 year old play with my PS3 controller the other day thinking she couldn’t do any damage since I don’t play it or really care about the saves any more.

Could fall under “To difficult for casual users to use” This is Nintendo, who likes their stuff to be approachable. Their vision of Zelda maker could have had things that made it less new-user friendly.

YES. I’ve been playing this on pc solo for a couple years since I don’t have any friends who have it but now I can convince all my PS4 bros to get it!

“United employees” is the key here. They don’t automatically get preference over all passengers - but they do over some passengers, based on fare class, frequent flyer status, et cetera. The “random selection by computer” was likely just a flight attendant’s oblique way of saying that the airline gives employees

It’s not a perfect plan.

He was always Dr. Eggman, even in the original game (Literally says ‘EGGMAN’ on the side of his fleet in game). The localization team just changed it to Robotnik in the manual back then. After running with it a while, they corrected it back to Eggman.

I dunno...I think this egg could give it a run for its money:
