I too play MTG. Just got some Aether Vials actually.

I’m playing oodles of hitman. Also nearing the end of super meat boy, maybe some guilty gear with friends tonight, and I’m in the polish phase of a little unity game I’ve been making (does testing count as playing? I’m doing a lot of testing this weekend).
Yeah that wasn’t the most fun fight in the game. Generally speaking I felt like the best combat was in the Witcher Quests.
You know what I really want? A functioning glass controller. It probably wouldn’t be something I’d use very much (I might be known to throw a controller) but it would be so awesome sitting there on my shelf.
You have a launch day steam account? What prompted that decision (honest curiosity, not a critical question)? Were you hyped for it?
I’ve been making myself a little smash clone on unity and this is exactly what I underestimated about the project. “Ok, cool, got a run, jump and punch script. Should they be able to punch while jumping? While in the air? Wait they can run in the air? How’d I do that? How do I undo that? Should they be able to control…
Yeah I’d say that revealing an exploit that way after attempting to go through legitimate channels is one thing, while spending hours streaming yourself doing it over and over again when the point has already been proven is something different.
I liked Galaxy a lot, and maybe this is just that I’ve grown up with SM64, but I last played Galaxy about a year ago, haven’t played SM64 in about 3 years, and I hardly remember most of Galaxy’s stages, while I can close my eyes and vizualize the route to most of the SM64 stars. To each their own though, I can…
Only in the case of nintendo fans, the “good ol days” actually existed.
Yeah and while Smash 64 isn’t the best Smash by a longshot, it has the most unique feel of any entry in the franchise and I still love it. Plus frankly 3d platforming has never lived up to SM64. Still one of the greatest games of all time.
Pops are soooo good that they straight manage their flaws (cutting the roof of your mouth, turning into paste, providing zero nutrition). They deserve a hero tier, where the cereal is very clearly flawed but good enough to overcome these flaws. Captain Crunch and Cookie Crisp both should be in hero tier.
Yeah perspective seems kind of like tuning an instrument. Some people always need a tuner, some will only be able to tune by ear if they never use a tuner, and some will need to use a tuner to learn how to tune by ear. I think determining whether theory or practice is right for learning any skill needs to be done on…
I’m playing broken age, I need something relaxing as I’ve spent the last few weeks smashing my head against that unity learning curve.
I’m not outraged, it just would’ve probably made the WiiU just appealing enough for me to buy it. Their loss.
Hm this looks really great, but I despise Pomo. Maybe they're just throwing the term around.
Not that this is any of your business, but I’ve done both. Mental illness doesn't give a fuck if it makes you hypocritical.
So as somebody with depression (who considers himself happy, simply living with a mental illness), I’m simeltaneously offended by the rant and totally feel for him. Suicide isn’t selfish, it’s a symptom. That should be obvious. At the same time, I’ve definitely pulled some “pull yourself together” bullshit at other…
It's all good :)
Yeah I plan to read the books once the show is done. Books are better than movies for me, so I don’t want to ruin the show by reading the superior version. It’s kind of like how I was mildly entertained by the Watchmen movie, and didn’t mind watching it and then I read the comic and realized how terrible it is. If I…
I’m a grad student and a big fan of the no crunch system. (What I’m about to say applies to self managed students and shouldn’t be taken to be wholly analogous to game devs who aren’t making their own schedules). You plan ahead, start work on your papers half way into the term, you plan all of your off days and you go…
