If publishers are gonna get all up in arms about piracy they shouldn't be blatantly ripping artwork from tattoo artists.

Has that hoodlum been loitering on your lawn too?

I don’t necessarily think one is better than the other—I think theft when it will have greater consequences is in some sense worse (like if somethings bad it's always bad but worse isn't the necessary opposite of better if that makes sense). But i was just voicing an opinion, not calling for any real action.

Yeah I bought it, it’s a new favorite. I also thoroughly think it’s worth $40 and while I don’t look down on piracy usually, it’s definitely worse to pirate an independently made project Blow is legitimately passionate about than a AAA game that is gonna sell millions of copies even if it’s bad. Plus people wanting to

I’m playing though the witness right now—it’s amazing, chock full of implicit dialogue with the player.

The Witness is soooooooo good. I wish I didn’t have a career to attend to, I’d be playing it right now.

I hate this so much. This is worse than the 2010 reboot where they made Velma straight.

I mean there are a finite number of ways you could draw penises in mario maker, so automatically disallowing them wouldn’t be infeasible.

Well there are various levels of impressiveness. A blind run with no use of the editor or videos is way more impressive to me than the upload insofar as the player had to figure it out and then beat it, while the creator knew the solution all along. And even if they do use the editor and watch Panga’s upload video,

There’s a market for Spanish mtg cards in the US.

Maybe they just wanna slay their friends at Magic. Like not in Austin, but I've met some people who would probably do this just to have the cards.

This was a really interesting review. Might just give this a shot sometime soon.

Yeah I really love MK, because it’s relatively easy to get decent at, which makes it both fun to play with people who are really good, and not easy to the point of boring if a friend is picking it up for the first time. Plus while I understand it's not everybodys cup of tea, the gore is really fun.

So slipping someone drugs without their knowledge or consent in a sexual context is just firends helping friends? Yeah I don’t think I have anything else to say to you.

Yep, a century old field of academia prefers her evidence based analysis to some rando on the internet commenting that they are “full of lies”.

Yeah I just looked that up. Nowhere in the definition does it include self control. Self censorship still isn’t a thing, whether you worship a prescriptivist dictionary or not.

So you intentionally drug a character without consent and then they open up sexually to you even though that was initially outside of their explicit orientation, and then you claim that this seeming rapey is all the result of poor translation? Am I arguing with Bill Cosby right now?

If you think saying something is objectively wrong without proving that it's objectively wrong will convince anyone of anything, you shouldn't try to argue about censorship.

As an actual academic, I can tell you that lies fly all the time, and dogmatically declaring something a lie without offering any evidence is looked down upon far more than making an interesting argument for an obvious falsity.

So when I choose not be an asshole, that’s self censorship? And youre being condescending about how words work?
