The US could certainly use a similar classification, a bump up from golf carts and their ilk.  Smaller, low-powered vehicles would be good for the elderly as well and still provide proper protection from the elements.

You didn’t pay attention to what he linked, did you.

The widebody Charger is such a good looking car.  I wish it was offered with a manual.

Yeah, I can appreciate the mechanical design of a fancy watch, but I have literally zero interest in spending any money on one. If I didn’t wear a fitbit, I’d consider an inexpensive Seiko. But the fitbit provides me with a lot more utility than a simple watch, so it’s what I stick with.

Agreed.  Back in the day I always liked what Callaway was doing from a performance perspective, but I rarely liked their styling modifications.  I still think this looks kind of strange, but after 25 years, its now an interesting talking point.  I wouldn’t pay $10k for this, but I’m sure there are plenty of people who

The Dart is a pretty quick little car. People liked to harp on it, because I guess people always need to pick on something. But when I had a bunch of compact cars in a row as rentals, the Dart was definitely the most fun to drive of the Corolla/Sentra/Elantra/Forte/Cruze.

It looks like google disabled it as well. Just about an hour before I read this article, most of my tabs disappeared, and they don’t appear in recent history. I wasn’t sure why. When I went to look at my extensions after reading this article, Chrome had The Great Suspender flagged as potential malware and it was

Something in paper towels always leaves streaks behind on the glass. Cleaning glass works much better for me with some sort of real cloth like cotton or microfiber.

The article says the test road is hooked up to the town’s biomass power plant, so they are probably burning trash to make the heat for this road...

Silver wheels look good on dark-colored cars.  Dark wheels look good on brightly colored cars.

I’m sure they have long-term dreams of fuel cells in everything, but the only applications we have seen from them in 20 years are a couple of passenger car trials where there is practically nowhere to refuel their cars, and no prospect of more refueling stations because there are only a tiny handful of H2 cars on the

At least in Hyundai/Kia’s case, they don’t already own a range of luxury brands like VW.  I never understood why they designed/built the Phaeton just to compete against their own Audi and Bentley brands.

This is a much better application than passenger cars for trying to roll out fuel-cell technology. The biggest stumbling block for hydrogen power is who is going to roll out a nationwide refueling infrastructure when there are almost zero hydrogen vehicles on the road to pay for it, and who would buy a hydrogen

Nah. Plug-in hybrid with a little 4-cyl to keep the batteries from fully draining. Then you wouldn’t need nearly as big of a battery pack.

Check Fuelly.com to see the few owners of the diesel, it does FAR better than the gasoline engine

Except the Jetta TDI gets great MPG, thereby justifying it’s existence

Lead picture makes the M8 look huge too, look how many of those people could fit inside!

Hasn’t Apple only changed the iphone charging cable once? The same or fewer number of times that Android phones have changed charging cables?

In the 90s it was very common for cars to have no grill designed into the front end, many cars got all of their needed cooling from under the bumper.  But the trend of the last 10-15 years of staking the entire design ethos around some gargantuan front grill seems to have erased those lessons from the past.

The price here definitely feels high to me considering the mileage on it.
