I converted a portion of my walk-out basement into a workshop for my cars.  Had the wall cut out and a garage door installed.  I have 2 cars in there and the room stays at a comfortable temperature year-long.  I love it.

When I was a kid someone gave me a picture of a Fiero for my birthday that looked just like this one.

LOL. You really can’t handle someone replying to your comment in a civil manner? Reported? Reported for what?

Why are the wheels so large? Frankly, they look out of proportion to me on this latest generation.

I was looking for someone else to comment on this.  I thought this sounded a lot like how they drove a company out of business, I think the company was founded by ex-employees?

My understanding is that when a restaurant enters into an actual relationship with a delivery company, the delivery company charges the restaurant a certain % of each order.  I’m guessing under the claim that the restaurant will get so much more business/advertising by partnering with the delivery company.

Also, because I am an adult, I make my sammiches on a pannini press, not a pan like some person who just got their first hot plate in their college dorm. The only downside being that you need to spread the whatever on the bread before you put it on the press versus melting 7 or 8 sticks of butter and posting smugly

Really? I was in Spain at the beginning of the year and was surprised to see several of these while walking around.  Especially surprising as this generation has almost disappeared in the US.

The only thing we ever used Hobby Lobby for was custom framing, because their prices for framing were so much lower than Michaels. As in noticeably cheaper than Michaels with a 50% off coupon. No idea if that is still the case, it’s been a long time since I’ve last done that at Hobby Lobby, though.

I’ve always been partial to two-tones, and this is no exception. It helps break up the blobby shape of the wagon and make it look longer and lower.

Same here.  It’s made me want to pull out my car’s radio and install a headunit with CarPlay.  Haven’t done it yet though.

We made our own sushi rolls the other day. For the fish, my wife picked up an order from Poke Bar and got some smoked salmon and we rolled it up in sushi rice we made.  Didn’t have the wide variety we’d get going out, but it was good.

Same here. We never order delivery, not even pizza.  I will run out and pick it up.  It’s usually both faster, and much cheaper.

With that Italian livery it genuinely adds a tiny bit of style to what is a blandmobile in stock form

I was in Spain at the beginning of the year and there were a bunch of EV NV200s driving around there.

Nah, that was just the design ethos of the time.  I think it was partly a reaction to the overwrought gothic styling of the 70s and the introduction of the high-tech squared-off design language of Japanese electronics.

In this particular example, diesel pickups have very high used prices because of their reputation for capability and running forever.  In addition, this is a very rare diesel that has a manual transmission.  This puts it into a speciality category because it is a desirable model with very limited availability.  KBB is

Pickup trucks always hold onto their value more than other vehicles because so many people want a truck, and the prices for new ones are high. Since so many people can’t afford the prices of new trucks, the used market is very strong. It also helps that many, many people buy them for work, even used, and drive them

My retirement account/ 401k, at the best, would only yield about .3% interest, which is somehow better, but absolutely worthless.

Cylinder deactivation doesn’t affect RPM, it has very little to do with gearing. When cruising on the highway, the engine doesn’t need power from all cylinders to maintain speed, so 1 or more cylinders can be shut off to save fuel. It isn’t going to save a lot, but apparently it is enough that Mazda decided to add it
