Appeal to authority? Ignorance of copyright law?

Actually, not very long. They typically don’t play “Creep” as it is one of their least favorite songs.

I guess you missed where I posted this:

Ok. I sat down with a guitar.

If you know nothing of music, then your argument would be correct.

Even if this song were a rip off (its not), the fact Radiohead is taking legal action goes against everything they have ever stood for. This is blatant abuse of the legal system for profit.

Come back with your counterpoint after 20+ years of songwriting and playing Creep in 10 different cover bands.

Radiohead doing this is no different than Taylor Swift copyrighting common phrases. The only similarity here is the chord pattern. The song changes as it goes on and the vocal melody is different. This is a lawsuit of pure greed just because. I am a long time Radiohead fan and this disgusts me. What a bunch of tools.

I haven’t listened to this and NO.

Look at the still image of that video. It looks like it came right out of a sci-fi movie where a fascist regime has taken over the country.

This is going to be Prohibition 2.0

Sessions is only expediting this issue. It’s clear the country wants weed to be legal. He is the catalyst for a battle he cannot win.

I think you are looking too far into this and that is the whole point. This ballot should not be used. Most especially if it against the rule book.

I think you may be predicting their next move. Now that Sessions has officially come out against it, the Dems have the perfect opportunity to be in conflict with his decision.

Righhhht.

If you look at the original ballot closely, you can see the Democratic candidate is crossed off, but over to the left there was another candidate with a crossed off bullet (exactly the same) and was the only selection for that position.

Good call for not going on the show.

I hope for the best for you.

Cue the celebrities eating popcorn memes.

I’m genuinely upset to hear that.
