What do I want from the Biden admin. How about less golf, less nepotism, less crazy tweets, less blatant lying, less “let’s try to be a mean and crule as possiable” and just some normal semi-efficient, boring governance.

3.8L is small displacement for a V6?

Hey Ferrari, I’m available, give me a call.

I completely agree. Driving dynamics and performance these are at least as good as their german counterparts but the rest isn't very close.

The day manuals became extinct, even in high powered sports cars, was the day I decided not to care that we’re headed towards electrification. If I can’t heel-toe shift my way through life, I might as well safe the damn planet enjoying all the low-end torque goodness of a 1-speed gearbox.

Blackwing is a great name, but ruined by naming an engine the same thing and then cancelling it after 5 mins.

Surely most of the really fast EVs that currently exist are already traction-limited. I mean, a Model S Plaid will do 0-60 in two seconds. At what point do people just stop caring about 0-60 times for EVs? It just seems like a bit of a party trick that you might try out on a track three or four times (if that) and

That always baffled me. Especially for the interior. If you don’t have a manual trans that can take the power, I guess it. Cowboy the hell up, but I get it.

and yet, they claim all the time “we don’t do embargoes” as a reason not to have coverage of something.

I don’t really care at all about embargoes on new car reveals and such.  I just think it is pretty much a big lie that they tell to make themselves feel like they have some ethical superiority over other news

Yikes. I’m sorry, but I’m seeing nothing but design flaws and laziness. I guess they’re aiming for a cheaper market, but $36,000 as equipped is not a cheap car.

Yeah, it’s pricey...so’s everything else that’s decent anymore. I would imagine Audi was tired of the R undercutting their S3 sales so much...but they are the ones who insist on not having a manual, while VW (supposedly) will. So, that’s worth a bit more parity in pricing to me...

You weren’t the only one, for what it’s worth.

Aside from assuming facts not in evidence— the author may not even be in school debt, or even if she is, her chosen career may be perfectly capable to rendering those debt (and retirement investment) concerns moot— the fact is, life is a terminal condition, and it is absolutely not worth living unless you take the

If we're being pedantic, the Taycan actually has a two-speed rear axle that shifts gears automatically

According to a guy on Reddit, the actual thing that happened was the driver leaned over to pick up something from the footwell, and the car started rolling. He tried to push the brakes to stop it, but stomped the throttle instead, and probably panicked when it shot forward.

I’d buy one too, and I’ve been shopping Caymans.

I think a special edition normally aspirated version would be quite effective. Think 8500 RPM 270 hp NA 2.4L flat-four, some aero, lower, light wheels and tires. A $40k Cayman GT4 if you will.

Interesting, I had never heard that GM was prioritizing Chevrolet above the other marques, but it makes sense. And it also would then make sense for them to drop Buick, Cadillac, and GMC as separate brands and just make them higher end versions of the Chevy product they are based on. Just like the new Hummer is a GMC
