I’d end up with three strangers in my car asking me if it was a Chrysler.

The front end is SO bad.
Genuine question here: Mazda just feels a little nicer than Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, etc... right? I mean, when I look at its competitors, from the most well known Japanese and Korean nameplates, I feel like Mazda is just nicer.
yeah the back looks worse. i actually really like the way the current one looks from the rear. but i have my car paid off with 56k miles so it won’t be going anywhere
Dammit, I hate Subaru’s bar-graph fuel gauges. Who the hell thought measuring it in twelfths was a good idea?
I think the old BRZ/86 is better looking, but the bump in power is really nice. From photos I’ve seen, the new interior still looks like dog shit. Aesthetically, the Miata has this beat inside and out. It’ll be interesting to see how it performs.
Not at all. Gas vehicles are entirely exempt if they’re pre-1975 and diesels are exempt pre-1997. Any diesel truck with a GVWR above 14,000lbs is also just totally exempt, along with I think all motorcycles. While the full exemption stopped rolling forwards in 2005, cars are only required to meet the target for the…
I get that. Had I had the ability to charge at home (apartment dweller) I’d consider one as well, as a commuter. I only buy used, so it will take some time any way.
I’ve heard (Not that I necessarily subscribe to the idea) that it likely wouldn’t change the value too dramatically. Because they no longer have to worry about running different molds, interiors and computers, the actual cost of manufacturing could shrink to eliminate the increased cost of the actual materials.
“Anything” is a troll. Check out the rest of his/her/they’s posts. At this point the only interesting thing about “Anything” is figuring out if it’s a domestic trolling situation, or a foreign influence. Probably best to just stop responding.
There are propositions out there to except 30 year old cars on a rolling basis. They just keep getting buried under a million other propositions.
There are 12 other states that follow CARB currently, not sure if every state is exactly the same even if they generally match with CARB.
A couple decades ago Subaru moved into Volvo’s house, took up with his wife and is raising his children. Ever since, Volvo has been in China trying to find himself. The result is this mid-life crisis where he’s started wearing expensive watches and wants to be called “Polestar” instead.
Hmmmm. While I’m not opposed to increasing emissions standard, I do want to note that California’s rules kinda *do* “take people’s cars away”, in that they prevent certain types of cars from being registered, and certain (popular, enthusiast) modifications from being done- whereas the same would be accepted in other…
So that beautiful Polestar 1 could have been a magnificent but normal Volvo but they had to get all stupid with it and make it $150,000, which is just silly for what it is, and that’s pretty much ruined it. That’s disappointing.
All the lines are sharper, especially on those nostrils up front, which makes it look crisper.
