In short, they rendered it as an M4 rather than as an M440, they just forgot to add a side vent behind the front wheel arch. Extrapolating from that, though, it becomes a very handsome automobile with an 8-series face on it.

So I’m not super informed on BMW engine codes, but what I’ve read is that BMW really doesn’t want to give Toyota access to the M division’s powerplant, but that shouldn’t be necessary because I think the I6 that’s already in the Supra has an available 6MT that bolts right up, no?

Nah, that wasn’t where the series stumbled. It stumbled after the New Caprica arc when it forgot that it was a space Opera and gave us hardly any of the space stuff for seasons 3 and 4. It stumbled when it decided to go down the same “God is real” bullshit rabbit hole that the original did instead of stick with what

It’s always been a $1000 option and, in the USA, nearly always been tied to the Sport/Dynamics package if there is one.

If it looked like the top I would want one very much.

Heckin’ yes!

They don’t have to actually stop selling the 4-door versions of the 2-door models, they just need to stop having them share labels with the 2-door models because they are really just a hatch variant of the 4-door model anyway.

M240i*

Rumor has it that Toyota will indeed be bringing the manual to the Supra. The question then, is whether it will be on the 3.0L or be relegated to the 2.0L. It’s pointless if they only do the latter, nobody wants a 2.0L Supra.

It’s an ugly car. May its sales flounder until it is fixed.

The whole concept of “residual self-image” did broadcast that a little bit.

I liked S1 of The Walking Dead, but entertainment was definitely already saturated with zombies back in 2010. I blame Left4Dead for tipping that domino.

It’s criminal that they don’t offer a Black Optics package on this model, because I agree. Never liked that grille.

Audi will also let you paint the cladding body color. So you can’t get it in pure wagon form, but they let you get 90% of the way there.

This one on the larger (A4+) Audi models is one of the better ones on the market. It’s lightyears better than that BMW whackjob, that completely alien Mercedes PoS, and whatever the hell VWAG is now sticking in all of the MQBevo cars that have DSGs. And absolutely fuck push-buttons and rotary dials.

With this in mind, I do think it’s funny that you can currently lease a V60 Polestar Engineered for LESS than the less expensive S60 Polestar Engineered despite it being more expensive to buy. I guess they think it will have significantly lower residuals, but I think it being an enthusiast car will have the opposite

Is this not just another application of things the aerospace industry already does to find FOD during manufacturing? Why did this need research to figure out?

Or the Focus and Fiesta that they still build and develop.

I think it’s not bad, and GM is not alone in lagging; VWAG is taking too damn long to make worthy competitors to Tesla. Maybe GM have an ace up their sleeve since they’ve been low-key developing electric tech for awhile? We’ll see.

Yesteryear’s new cars are so goddamn good in 2020 that automakers cannot hope to compete with them while maintaining the margins to which they have become accustomed to.
