does anyone know what kind of insulation a plane uses? thinkng it’s like minus 59 celcius right? and inside you just feel a bit of coolness on the interior panels.. from these pics, you can see the wall is super skinny.

it depends on the company, but in general, if there is not a super busy demand day for services, then you can generally get them to agree to a minimum of 2 hours of turbine time billed per day. So if you use say an hour and you have the helicopter stopped all day, you get billed 2 hours.

So let’s compare to a heli company. Similar outlay for purchase.. say 2.3m for your average single turbine passenger helicopter like a Bell or Eurocopter B3. Possibly similar per hour maintenance costs but on the heli they are legally required.

was recently helping an employee get her first car.. her specs were almost exactly like the Corolla searchers.. and we looked for a Corolla.
