Why would someone email this to him if it weren’t true!? Who would lie more? The MEDIA or an honest person emailing in a threat?

Reminds me of a 2009 Saab 9-3 I drove for a while. It would shoot out 4 streams of washer fluid at a decent pressure and aimed high up on the windshield. It used up fluid like crazy. On the highway it was especially effective at rinsing the car behind you.

I’m in the target age and came to say this. Middle school insult habits took a concerted effort to break once my brain matured a little. Same with the word retarded.

How would the non-liberal Boston media cover such an event? Call Jones a liar based on weak assumptions?

I ride metro-north to and from Grand Central each day. It’s a long commute but it’s extremely easy when compared to some of the shorter (time-wise) ones I’ve done where I was driving on a congested highway. It’s a long time on the train (90 min door to door I think) - but it’s so much different than a traffic jam…

For me, the 24/7 news cycle was born on 9/11. I remember manically watching the various news channels for many weeks afterwards, reading the chyrons, hoping for some kind of new piece of information to help make some sense of it.

Just ignore him. You’ve given it your best shot. When someone makes overbroad assertions, it’s basically impossible for an expert to explain things like nuance to them. The only thing you’ll get in return are subjective, quasi-related arguments like “well I feel the government is wasteful.”
