When I was growing up, "shut up" was way worse than "shit" or "fuck." I am in complete agreement that it's how you use the words that counts.

A favorite moment for me: my son used "fuck" in a Facebook post. One of his cousins asked "Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" He replied "Who do you think taught me to talk like this?"
