I’ve used this exact same metaphor, but it’s also worth pointing out that Beto O’Rourke was actually more qualified than Stacey Abrams, since he served in the national legislature, not merely a state legislature.

Beto’s resume is actually a lot better because he served multiple terms in Congress. Abrams is better educated though.

I wouldn’t count on Biden resigning. We had 2 terms of Reagan and he had diagnosed Alzheimers. Trump can’t string a sentence together, is paranoid af, and can barely execute basic functions yet he shows no indications of resigning. Joe has a stutter, and frankly has always been a gaffe machine— I really don’t see…

Except “the people" overwhelmingly voted for Biden. Their will was done. VP candidates are very often failed Presidential candidates— Biden was one himself in ‘08. This is an odd take.

Despite the fringe narrative, I don’t think very many people view her (or any DA/AG) as a “cop”. I also don’t think having a career as a prosecutor is the handicap that many on the G/O sites view it to be.

My first choice in the primary is now the #2 on the ticket. I’ll take the win.
