Shit man, I’m one of those parents buying happy meals, and even those have gone up 100%! Damn things were $2 a couple years ago, now they’re $4.

“I’m gonna err on the side of caution and not include those ingredients here”
I don’t know about this specific show, but yes, most reality TV contestants are wanna be actors hoping to make it big.
And how does the gameplay match that? All 4 members have identical powers, flying through the air while targeting hitscan weapons at waves of enemies a football field away.
Nice strawman you have there.
Now I’m imaging a Half-Life movie trilogy, where the third movie never gets made.
I think you’re seeing that because it’s referencing, at least some of, the criticisms calling the movie bad because it’s obviously aimed at kids. The Gizmodo review literally says the movie isn’t made for anybody that “lived through” Mario’s 30 year history.
Just went to see it with my 5yo, and we had a great time! It kept his attention for the whole 90 minutes, and got him clapping and bouncing after we left the theater. I thought it was cute, and actually made me chuckle a few times. I’m absolutely thrilled it’s a success, and think it deserves to be.
The entire concept from that gameplay (flying around a huge arena, targeting smaller enemies while taking down a larger boss) just has nothing to do, thematically, with the Suicide Squad. The live-service, online-only stuff is certainly unwelcome, but the whole game needs to be torn down, and rebuilt from the ground…
At this point, doesn’t Disney have a pretty solid 1st Amendment lawsuit against DeSantis and the State of Florida?
This isn’t the first time either.
My dad was married twice before my mom, and had two kids from each. The youngest was 5 years older than me, but lived with her mom. When my parents inevitably divorced, I lived with my mom. So I absolutely understand what it’s like to both have siblings, and feel like an only child.
It’s a fine line to walk. I’m willing to drop a couple bucks on a F2P game, as long as it’s not crippled to the point where I HAVE to drop money.
I had a boy a few years ago, but if I had a girl, her middle name would likely have been Kairi.
Well thank fucking god none of us are on the jury, and are free to judge his behavior based on confirmed texts from him sexually grooming underage women.
Part of me is worried that republicans will just use this as pretext for actually jailing democratic opponents next time they’re in a position to do so.
This has LONG been the status quo of the AV Club (and any other perpetually online people). If the movie isn’t a home run, then it’s utter dreg with zero redeeming qualities, and belongs next to Uve Boll’s library in the trash bin of history.
Yes, welcome to the world of discussion and opposing view points. I don’t agree with the author, therefor I’m arguing in bad faith.
I have faith in Craig Mazin. He pulled on the emotional threads of the first game, and brought some of the underlying themes and subtext to a more meaningful place. He seems to be a good pairing with Druckmann, and and really bolster’s some of Druckmann’s narrative shortcomings.
Thank you! I was always less concerned with whether Joel was justified or not, and with the fact that nobody ASKED Ellie what she wanted, and the Fireflies FIRST act was to kill the only known person immune. That is absolute lunacy.
