The Flash is my absolute favorite comic hero. After years of waiting, and watching Miller have a breakdown in real-time, this is finally coming out.  And I’m just sitting here, praying that it isn’t terrible.

I don’t know about this specific show, but yes, most reality TV contestants are wanna be actors hoping to make it big.

The original 1.6 billion was 10% of their entire net worth. So paying out 5% as settlement isn’t nothing. It’s definitely bloodying their nose.

And how does the gameplay match that?  All 4 members have identical powers, flying through the air while targeting hitscan weapons at waves of enemies a football field away.

Now I’m imaging a Half-Life movie trilogy, where the third movie never gets made.

I think you’re seeing that because it’s referencing, at least some of, the criticisms calling the movie bad because it’s obviously aimed at kids.  The Gizmodo review literally says the movie isn’t made for anybody that “lived through” Mario’s 30 year history.

Just went to see it with my 5yo, and we had a great time! It kept his attention for the whole 90 minutes, and got him clapping and bouncing after we left the theater.  I thought it was cute, and actually made me chuckle a few times.  I’m absolutely thrilled it’s a success, and think it deserves to be.

My assumption was that the Queen is still part of the hive, even if she controls it. And if one body is destroyed, that doesn’t destroy the driving consciousness. Each grouping presumably has a Queen body for local control, and in events where that group/ship gets cut off from the larger collective, can still function…

The entire concept from that gameplay (flying around a huge arena, targeting smaller enemies while taking down a larger boss) just has nothing to do, thematically, with the Suicide Squad. The live-service, online-only stuff is certainly unwelcome, but the whole game needs to be torn down, and rebuilt from the ground…

At this point, doesn’t Disney have a pretty solid 1st Amendment lawsuit against DeSantis and the State of Florida?

As a father to a 5yo, I challenge your assertion that they haven’t made any “watchable” films.

According to google, Fox is worth 16 billion.  So I don’t know that this will be enough to topple the entire empire.  But it is interesting that this lawsuit is for precisely 10% of their net worth.

What I’ve learned is it is ok to lie as long as it’s for broadcast ratings stock prices.

My dad was married twice before my mom, and had two kids from each.  The youngest was 5 years older than me, but lived with her mom.  When my parents inevitably divorced, I lived with my mom.  So I absolutely understand what it’s like to both have siblings, and feel like an only child.
