So unless you’re a major completionist, there’s no reason to get both?  Good to know. Thanks!

He has literal decades of policy backing up his pro-union stances.  Yet another person who only sees what they want to see.

Question for all the pokemon fans out there... my kid has started asking for pokemon games. I was just a bit too old when they came out, so I’ve never delved into them. What is the purpose of the dual releases? I assumed it just changed your starter pokemon, but are there any other differences? Is there any purpose to

I decided several years ago that people arguing in bad faith simply aren’t worth arguing with, and I’m not gonna play your stupid games. I’m gonna call out your bullshit when I see it, and I’m gonna mock you for it.

I recently got my kid his very first switch games, Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons.  Setting up an account for him (both on the Switch, and in the game), and downloading updates was exactly like you described.  But he’s also 4.  Like most things in life, I suppose it comes down to knowing your audience.

Thing is, it would be a perfectly reasonable plan with one tweak to the quality.  One stream at a time, but at 1080p would work great for people without roommates, or one TV, and would also cut down on the password sharing that they think is the end of the world.

I did enjoy sending my minions to stealth murder anyone in the game. It was the first one that actually made me feel like an assassin.

Hmm... I don’t perceive any movement, but I can feel my pupils reacting.

You literally CAN’T exceed the screen threshold.  I share with my MIL, and my kid will sometimes leave netflix streaming on his tablet, so when I try to watch on my TV, we get denied, and have to hunt down what’s taking up a slot.

Yes, yes... password sharing is the problem.  It’s not the fact that Netflix is becoming the Asylum of the streaming world... no, it has to be the password sharing.

Daddy and mommy probably neglected him.

I’m no fan of Musk, but I’ll freely admit I was excited by his asteroid mining plans a few years ago.  It’s disappointing to see him fully embrace being an Austin Powers villain.

If Brotherhood is the one I remember, I really could have done without the base defense minigames.

I’ve been toying with streaming on Game Pass, and while it’s a lot better than I expected, it’s still not ready to replace local play. I still get bad screen tearing, artifacting, and muddled colors.  And I have fast internet.

If they were on discount, and not limited quantity, how is it in any way “gaming the system”?

Why are you so zero sum about it? We can acknowledge the truth (abusers are awful, regardless of gender), while also recognizing the scale of the situation (women are abused on a scale far greater than men). Taking a moment to advocate for male abuse victims does not reduce the support available for the woman victims.

Necropost, but I just finished Infinite, and I couldn’t stop thinking the entire game, wondering WHY it was such a bad thing to release the Endless?  As far as I know, they didn’t DO anything except survive the firing of the Halo rings.  So sure, store them away.  But when the flood is no longer a threat, let them out

See, I think the secrecy the industry encourages is the real problem. Be up front and open about the development process... tell people what you’re working on. But don’t promise release windows until you’re absolutely sure it’ll be ready.

My favorite thing to do since Halo 2 is to give the marines the biggest, baddest weapons available since they have infinite ammo. Halo Infinite makes this especially easy.  If I set up at a FOB before heading out in a Razorback with 5 marines all rocking seeking rocket launchers, they are fucking death incarnate.
