Owned one for 2 years. The thing is absolutely amazing. $300 for a replacement auto dimming mirror, $600 to replace one valve cover gasket, $1000 for failed air strut. On and on. All of these took at least a week or two to source parts. But when it worked it was an absolute unstoppable freight train on or of road.

If the turbos, air struts, driveshaft support have all been replaced. NP. whoever buys be prepared for $150 oil changes. This is actually a rare combination of options with keyless access and 4 zone climate. Most rare model if it also has the rear locking diff. *former v10 touareg owner here

I just bought a Mustang GT a few months ago. I really don’t understand how so many people are so terrible at driving these things. It’s actually extremely easy to control at the limit. Granted I’m 34 and have owned my fair share of sports cars that were much more difficult to control.

So... Just filled everything in. Leased 14 jetta with 30K. Showing me only $3100? I thought the minimum was $5100? Also I reran it as if I just bought out the lease in cash when it ends in 3 months for $14K and the buyback is $21400. So anyone with a lease is kind of getting screwed here.

If I calculate this correctly my payout if I owned the car would be $25637. So if I just hand it back they forgive roughly $3k in lease payments and a

Oil changes that I do myself are about $110 because it takes a case of the VW dpf specific stuff. I've been lucky because mine is an 07 that I bought from a dealer I know well with only 45K on the clock. 3 years and another 30K miles and only a valve cover gasket, brakes, and a thermostat. v10 Touareg owner here. It is an amazing machine and I honestly have had very few problems with mine (knock on wood). I wouldn’t even look at one that was prior to 07. But be prepared for $100+ oil changes and any part that needs to be replaced will take a week to get and cost $400 minimum.

I’d take the 911 10/10 just because I'm a sucker for the understated and ya know... it's shit your pants fast. Touareg v10 owner here. General response to seeing the v10 badge is either “Did you rip that badge off an old dodge pickup?” or “Jesus how much is the maintenance on that thing?”.
