Actually the Soul killed the other boxy cars. As we all know there were the Element, the xB, and the Cube. When the 1st gen Soul came out they just couldn’t compete. The Soul’s sales number dwarfed their sales numbers combined. They either discontinued or became JDM only. It’s a true segment buster.

There are bigger ones I believe, for that Hyundai is the biggest shipbuilder in the world.

I think BMW and Audi actually got pretty reliable over recent years. Still expensive to own beyond warranty though. 21st century Kias esp. 2010s models.
