I thought this episode kinda sucked; they are now better storytellers than comedy writers, which is fine, if they'd quit trying to force the comedy. It was funnier when they didn't try so hard. And—Chris Elliot needs to never be on the show again.
A lot of the world does TV in this format: telenovellas. So it's happened a lot for a long time, just not here. Hopefully the idea will take off. It's a good one.
